Anticipated Modifications in the NEET 2025 Exam
The following adjustments are anticipated to be made to the NEET 2025 exam by the expert committee’s recommendations.
- Exam Models: Online and Hybrid: This recommendation suggests that NEET 2025 be administered online, or through a computer. A hybrid approach, in which test takers must respond on paper while the NEET question papers are shown on screen, may be used if administering the exam entirely online proves difficult.
- Multi-Stage Exam for Medical Aspirants: The NEET exam, like JEE Main, is recommended to be administered twice a year or in stages. This will provide candidates multiple chances and assist the exam authorities in managing the enormous number of test takers (more than two lakh).
- Limits on NEET Attempts: To encourage candidates to prepare well, the committee suggests limiting the number of NEET attempts per applicant.
- Modification to the NEET test Pattern: Over the previous two years, the NEET test pattern has not changed. Therefore, there is a possibility that the NEET 2025 exam format will alter. According to sources, the optional questions might be left out, following the format of the most recent JEE Main exam.
